Taken during a photography course, this piece shows depth of field and variety of color. There are nearly 500 cranes pictured here, all of which folded by myself. This comes from an old Japanese myth that if you are able to fold 1,000 cranes, then the gods will listen to any one wish you make. While I am still working towards my thousand crane goal, the current cranes serve as a reminder of my hopes and dreams, and double as great photograph material! This photograph was published in the Southern Utah Art Magazine, “The Southern Quill”.
